The ARTEMISO team has accompanied me intensively in my new role as Chief Digital Officer (CDO). New structures, a digital strategy, new working methods, coaching and training of employees as well as new HR-focuses had to be developed and introduced in the implementation of our digitization process. This was a great challenge for all of us, with many internal resistance. Ms Walter and Mr Güpner, with their open, understanding and yet focused manner, have contributed greatly to the reduction of the existing doubts and resistance and to build up trust.
Despite existing digitisation processes, we were still at the very beginning of a uniform implementation. Ms Walter prepared me for my role as CDO within the framework of the individual coaching sessions. They helped me to develop a vision for our digital culture and to plan the corresponding operational steps for implementation in the company. My role as a digital leader and leading my new agile teams was also a focus of the coaching. The creation of our digitization strategy (“red thread”) was certainly decisive for the successful implementation.
The professional ARTEMISO team helped us to define a cross-company vision and clear implementation steps and to live the digital culture.
– Claudia Mayer, Chief Digital Officer, Salzburg, Austria
I think the situation has already occurred with many others in this way, and I have experienced a professional change with a subsequent basic orientation phase. At that time, a colleague referred me to ARTEMISO. Dr. Güpner understood it very quickly with his many years of experience and his empathy and the “critical” questions (technology) to explore my own real needs and wishes and to continue to work with me on the important topics – what do I really want and where I want to go. We have worked on the issues over a period of 7 months in several joint sessions. A great support that still helps me a lot today.”
– Jörg Schröder, Head of Client Strategy & Steering – Allianz Re at Allianz SE, Munich
Through a recommendation for agile coaching I contacted Ms Walter. As head of department in a medium-sized company, I took on a new management task, supplemented by the introduction of agile processes in the department. Ms Walter introduced me to the subject of agile leadership and project management, coached me in the definition of agile processes and structures and prepared me professionally for the team events “Digital Culture” and “SCRUM”. The topic was completely new to me and difficult to comprehend in its implementation.
Thanks to Ms Walter’s experience, I quickly found my way into the agile process in dialogue and became enthusiastic about it. Although I was very skeptical at first. I have been able to convey a spirit of agility in my teams and to put myself into the new leadership methods and implement them. Our agile projects are running very well thanks to the coaching support of Ms Walter. In the very important phase of the new introduction of agile methods, we have been able to set up the new processes well through professional support.

I worked with Dr. Güpner during my time as Director Human Resources in the TGW Logistics Group on a recommendation. With his many years of experience, he supported me very professionally in the development of a global HR strategy for a group of companies with 2,500 employees. Dr. Güpner accompanied me as a coach in my persuasion work on projects with my management.
Dr. Güpner convinced me with his flexible and open approach to my special requirements and he was able to familiarize himself with the internal structures and processes of the TGW Group within a very short period of time. Dr. Güpner was always available for personal appointments in a very flexible way, although I had my place of employment in Austria and he in Germany. Dr. Güpner’s specialist knowledge and methodological expertise in the area of human resources is exemplary and is characterised by very good, practical recommendations for action.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Güpner warmly for his role as my companion in strategic personnel management. I am convinced that his knowledge and experience can add significant value to any business.
– Robert Reitmann, Director Legal and HR, TGW Wels, Austria
Due to an upcoming job interview at a strategic management consultancy, I went into the capable hands of Dr. Güpner. As I, as a medical doctor with no experience in the business world, did not know what to expect, Dr. Güpner and his many years of experience in personnel management were the ideal preparation for me.
I am still very surprised how you can remain confident with the right techniques and good preparation in an interview despite tough questions. Here Dr. Güpner knows really great tips and tricks I would never have come across alone. And from my experience, preparation is really EVERYTHING here. Dr. Güpner not only took away the fear of my job interview, he also helped me to get my dream job. Thank you very much!!
– Dr. Ebeling, Consultant, Hamburg
After two professional disappointments and a certain loss of self-confidence, I got to know Dr. Güpner by a recommendation. My hope was not only to “get back on track”, but also to get a clear idea of my career path.
Already during our introductory meeting, Dr. Güpner looked cleverly behind the façade. I’m sure he already knew where he was going with me. My goal formulation was the basis of my coaching and included not only my professional position or salary expectations, but also the questioning of personal behaviour and their assessment. The coaching was a step out of me. I was able to see myself, evaluate myself impartially and then decide where I wanted to change. Dr. Güpner accompanied the path through targeted questioning, but the responsibility was always in my hands. It was exciting that he made corrections to his image of you – this was not done according to the mood of the other person, but according to a precise assessment and detailed questioning.
With the bundled knowledge of my professional goals and my personal behaviours, I was able to look for MY job in peace. And it worked out – my current job has all the check marks we had set back then.
– Dr. Rainer Gangnus, Senior Product Manager, Munich
From colleague to team coach: How can this challenge be mastered?
Five years ago, when I made a decisive career step and wanted to do justice to my new role as a manager, I met Dr. Axel Güpner. Over a period of 3 years he accompanied me with his expertise and experience on my professional path. Through our regular exchange of ideas and Dr. Güpner’s uncomplicated way of supporting and strengthening my professional development, I quickly learned to motivate employees, lead teams and initiate changes within an institute. I have always been impressed by his life experience and his professional vision.
Our work began with the formulation of objectives. He kept coming back to the goals and always put the responsibility into my hands. I appreciate the high degree of personal responsibility, combined with competent support and numerous impulses for implementation.
Even after the coaching phase, we have remained in contact to this day. Dr. Güpner always provides me with helpful practical tips. I would like to thank Dr. Axel Güpner for his many years of dedicated support and interest in my career.
